Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I like to put things in people’s mouths, lol. Really, I like science, biology, working with my hands, and I like helping people feel better and be healthy.

Hobbies and Interests? 

Working out, riding my horse, hiking with my dog and learning.

Favorite food and treats? 

Steak and pasta. Cheesecake and pumpkin pie. Sweet: gummy bears.

My real age, my many hobbies, past and present.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

I love it when a plan comes together, and the patients and we benefit. It's incredibly rewarding when we identify a patient's needs, develop a comprehensive treatment strategy, and then witness that plan unfold successfully. Knowing that our collective effort and expertise have directly contributed to improving a patient's dental health, comfort, or confidence is a powerful motivator. I love to see our patients’ happiness and the unique connections we build with them. It's not just about treating teeth; it's about treating people. And, I genuinely enjoy bringing my sense of humor to the office. It helps create a more relaxing and fun atmosphere for both our patients and our team. Dental visits can sometimes be a source of anxiety for people, and I find great satisfaction in being able to lighten the mood. A well-timed joke or a moment of shared laughter can significantly ease a patient's apprehension, making their experience more comfortable and enjoyable. This also fosters a lighthearted and collaborative spirit among colleagues and the team, making our workday more enjoyable. Contributing to such a positive, approachable environment is something I find incredibly rewarding and essential to our overall success.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

Growing up, I always had positive experiences at the dentist — I had healthy teeth, and dental appointments were easy and even enjoyable for me. I first became interested in dentistry when I got braces. My orthodontist was always upbeat and personable, and I genuinely looked forward to those visits. It made me think, ‘This could be a great career for someone like me.’ As I got older, my interest in science — especially biology and chemistry — deepened, leading me to pursue those subjects in college. Ultimately, dentistry felt like the perfect combination of everything I enjoy: working with my hands, solving problems, and building meaningful relationships. I love that I can make a tangible difference in someone’s life while also connecting with them on a personal level.

Hobbies and Interests? 

In my free time, I love being outside. I love playing lacrosse, going to the gym, hanging out with my dog Beans, and playing guitar. In the summer you can find me at the beach, on my boat, or swimming all day long.

Favorite food and treats? 

I love all foods but one of my favorites is sushi. I could eat sushi for breakfast (sometimes I do); Something sweet: I also love tiramisu, Swedish fish, and skittles.

Pet? 

My dog Beans is a Boston terrier. She is 5 years old, and she is CRAZY!

What is something people don't know about you? 

Something people don’t know about me is that I used to play the violin professionally for weddings and events. I started playing when I was 8 years old, after being selected as one of 12 students in my school’s pilot violin program. From the moment I picked up the instrument, I was hooked. I continued playing throughout high school and college, eventually performing at formal events.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

Working at Dr. Bernardini’s office has been an incredible experience. Not only the practice runs with exceptional professionalism and efficiency, but the office culture is equally impressive. Every day, I’m surrounded by a team of colleagues who feel more like friends—people who genuinely enjoy working together. This supportive, positive environment makes the workday enjoyable and fulfilling. Dr. Bernardini and Lili go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels valued and appreciated. Their generosity and leadership foster a workplace where each team member knows their contributions matter. I truly feel fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to work. On top of that, Doc is an amazing mentor for me and is always there to provide support and guidance.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

It was meant to be. I married a dentist who needed my help while I was looking for my “dream job” in fashion. That “help” brought up my passion for organizational management and connecting with people.

Hobbies and Interests? 

At the top of my list, spending quality time with my son and my family. Next is Crossfit, rock climbing (I haven’t done it much lately), physical challenges.  Traveling and seeing in person the places or art that I learned through books! art, photography, design, organizing; baking; writing, reading or listening to audiobooks about personal growth, management and bios; I love the peace of being in nature but also walking in the city. Even though some of these may be dormant right now, I always look forward to enjoying the things that give me calm and happiness.

Favorite food and treats? 

Salmon in any style, Sushi, a good salad, “El Corral” hamburger (sorry! Just in Colombia) Sweet: dark chocolate and a good brownie (even better if it is warm and has a scoop of ice cream on top).

Pet? 

Our beloved Pitbull mix doggie Darby; our new gigantic Rhodesian ridgeback puppy Simba; and my husband’s horse, Skywalker, a sweet appaloosa.

What is something people don't know about you? 

I used to be a fashion and textile designer, which I enjoyed very much; I made EVERYTHING for our small wedding (from invitations to the cake, and of course my wedding gown); I have a merchandising management master’s degree; and I miss my mom every day. I love one-on-one conversations more than crowds. Building real and profound relationships, helping people, sharing and giving is something that pumps up my heart. And even though I am a quiet person, I just need a really good party with great music, and you won't stop me dancing and having fun.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

I love working and connecting with people, witnessing their transformation from fear or anxiety into happiness and trust. I also take great pride in cultivating our unique team, ensuring we bring in the right individuals to form a solid and trustworthy unit that consistently delivers the highest quality services.  And looking for ways to keep our values in check while having fun and appreciating what we do.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I was looking for a better job and my sister’s boss (a dentist) asked me if I was interested in learning how to assist him. I went for a week, and I never looked back.

Hobbies and Interests? 

Dancing and cooking; also decorating and shopping.

Favorite food and treats? 

Steak and chicken. Sweets: chocolate.

What is something people don't know about you? 

People don’t know how honest I am. I have no filters. And I am loyal.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

I love the respect we all have for each other; I appreciate Dr Chris very much, and I love the teamwork and the atmosphere.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I used to work as a receptionist on my hometown and seeing how confident people are with a nice and healthy smile made me happy, that’s why I decided to join the dental field to contribute on people smile and confidence.

Hobbies and Interests? 

Doing my nails, hair and shopping. I would like to become an eyebrow designer.

Favorite food and treats? 

Meat and pasta. Brownies, Nutella, chocolate…

Pet? 

Small Dog like my yorkie!

What is something people don't know about you? 

When I’m upset, I can’t stop moving, I just want to be busy.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

Teamwork, patients, coworkers, how everything is gratified and celebrated, the Doctors’ behavior, respect and gratitude.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I decided to work in the dental field because it’s part of medicine which I’m in love with

What is something people don't know about you?  

It’s the fact that I put my heart into everything I do for them.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

Teamwork! Everyone is very friendly, kind and helpful. Dr Chris is very funny which makes me feel like at home because being funny is part of my personality.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

The art and science of dentistry was something I found a deep interest in, and I’ve always known I wanted to work in a caring profession. I believe the mouth is a gateway to the rest of whole-body health. Through continuous learning and practice as a dental assistant for several years my interest in dentistry expanded into a passion driven profession of dental hygiene and disease prevention.

Hobbies and Interests? 

Flossing. Traveling. Spending time in nature. Hiking, biking, camping, alpinism and climbing. Spending quality time with family and my niece and nephew Lilah & Hudson.

Favorite food and treats? 

Favorite foods include buffalo wings and trail snacks. Favorite treats include warm tea on crisp mornings and ice cream year-round.

Pet? 

An 8-year-old Shiba Inu named Tacoma

What is something people don't know about you? 

Despite spending nearly all my free time outside, my husband Rob and I enjoy binging Netflix series every now and then.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

The blend of dedication, teamwork, and having fun all while working towards achieving excellence in dentistry is something that is hard to find as a hygienist. It’s important to me to work in a place with high levels of ethics along with shared respect for every member of the dental team and that’s what I’m enjoying most about working at Dr ACB.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I always knew I wanted a meaningful career that involved helping others. Upon entering High School, I found out that they offered a dental program elective that immediately caught my attention. I truly enjoy helping patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile! The most rewarding part is having patients tell me that they have overcome their fear of visiting the dentist and now look forward to their routine appointments!

Hobbies and Interests? 

Working out (specifically weight training), playing tennis and pickleball, going to rock concerts, trying new restaurants, and lastly, I will never turn down a tropical vacation or weekend trip to a different city!

Favorite food and treats? 

Pizza and pasta! Something sweet: chocolate fudge brownie ice cream

Pet? 

I have 2 pets that I love with all my heart. Sophie is a 10-year-old Pomeranian poodle mix, and Leo is a 3-year-old Boston Terrier.

What is something people don't know about you?

    1.    I have my certification in personal training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

    2.    I have a fraternal twin sister who is also a dental hygienist.

    3.    I am deathly afraid of bugs (specifically spiders).

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

I absolutely love the teamwork and passion. The level of commitment we share with each other and our patients is truly amazing. We are always smiling and uplifting each other and I’m so grateful to be a part of the team here at Dr. Bernardini’s office.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

It is a funny story. I actually felt into the field unexpectedly. An office manager loved my bubbly personality towards others, and she offered me a job on the spot. She told me I have great character for this job. 

Hobbies and Interests? 

Music is my number one interest. I find inspiration through music. My hobbies would have to be the gym. I take the gym very seriously; it has become part of my personality. I have a great person who has taught me so much about myself and the gym.

Favorite food and treats? 

Just like every girl, I enjoy going out to dinner. You can’t love the gym without loving food. I enjoy eating pasta, it has to be one of my favorite go-to meals.

Pet? 

Being a pet owner, I am partial to dog, however, I do like cats some of them have great personalities.

What is something people don't know about you?  

I am a loner much of the time. I lost my very best friend in a traumatic way. However, I am always surrounded by my family who loves me very much. Having a strong healthy supportive family can get you through anything.

What do you love about working at Dr ACB’s office? 

It’s a breath of fresh air, a new perspective on a field that is much needed and needs to be respected. My journey into the dental field was not always a positive experience. Now, later in life, I can see how great the dental field can be because of working with an amazing team. The office and team have really changed my perception of the area of dentistry. Having staff that care about your wellbeing and happiness is very comforting. It’s like having a second family.

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I have been in the medical field for many years and dentistry was a new learning experience for me and I will always push myself to learn more and challenge myself.

Hobbies and Interests?

What do you love about working at Dr ACB? 

I love working at Dr ACB’s office for the fact that this isn’t just an office with coworkers; it’s a team that treats each and every employee as well as the patients with the upmost respect, care, compassion and commitment to helping. 

Why did you decide to work in the dental field? 

I’m passionate about dentistry and want to pursue a career in dentistry and help others.
